Also, I truly appreciated the thank you card. It's those little touches and gorgeous products that keep customers (like myself) coming back for more. Thanks again!  - Megan

"Stitches From Heaven" really ARE Stitches From Heaven
We met the solomon family in June of 2001 under the most difficult circumstances. We actually met at the cemetery after burying our sons within one month of each other. In our grief, we began a wonderful friendship. Although I am old enough to be Martha's mother...we have both suffered the greatest loss anyone could possibly imagine. We cry together, and truly understand each other's pain. We are blessed with wonderful husbands and families who share in our loss. "Stitches from heaven" began in Martha's home where she lovingly made blankets for children with cancer. Some for friends of Nate's.In order to stay at home with her five other beautiful children, she has developed an embroidery business. And she does a wonderful job...she is creative and helpful ...accurate and timely! Most of all, she has Nathan and other children with cancer and their families in her heart with each stitch she makes!  - Pam Hunzicker (Tommy's Mom)

Hi Martha, I just wanted to take a minute to thank you once again for the beautiful job you did on the embroidered baseball caps for my son's memorial. Of the 60 hats I got from you, I gave about 20 to family, and another 25 or so to his friends. (I'm keeping a few for myself). EVERYONE that got a hat was blown away by the picture of Casey's truck that you embroidered on the front. They couldn't believe how perfectly you got every little detail, down to the fog lights on the front brush guard. I know that these hats will help keep my son's memory alive and in the hearts of everybody that knew and loved him. Thank you again Martha, for doing such a beautiful job on Casey's hats.  - Casey's Dad, Tony Garcia

I have been ordering all of my embroidery projects from Stitches From Heaven for the last year. I have ordered several things for various sports teams and school dance and cheer teams from Martha. I love working with Martha. She is very helpful and has great ideas. She will embroider ANYTHING that you want and do what it takes to make the customer happy with the end result! The quality of her work is the best I've seen and her prices are cheaper than anywhere else. I tell everyone I know that they need to see Martha for all their embroidery needs!   - Candi Brundage

My name is Maren Bennett, and I am the cheerleading advisor at Summit Intermediate School in Etiwanda, CA. I have been fortunate enough to get to know Martha Solomon and her work, on both a professional and personal level. In short, she provides fine embroidered craftsmanship, exceptionally professional service, and insightful creativity--all with a homespun charm. Stitches from Heaven and Martha Solomon are like homemade cookies and milk, but of the gourmet variety. Martha's workmanship and service are profound. She has a remarkably quick turnover, and perfectionism and precision define all of her work. Her generous flexibility and commitment make her especially invaluable to our program. I have called Martha early in the morning, and from 800 miles away, from a crowded classroom, and from the gym. She is always cheerful, excited, and receptive-eager to invite me into her home, stir together ideas, and share a dash of her life and a sprinkle of children. Her home/office is a warm and friendly refuge, and she is perpetually reliable, supportive, and enthusiastic. I consider Martha a fine friend, and an incredibly committed asset to our community. Martha's product beats out the more commercialized competition because it is always creative and original. Personalized does not just mean names and school colors, it means unique designs comprised of ¾ cup of her client's vision and ¼ cup her own expertise. Whether on campus, out in the community, or at competitions, my squad is often asked, "Where did you get those?!" Such is the ultimate compliment, much like when someone asks for your family recipe. In this case, I am more than willing to share the secret ingredient, our chef. Martha Solomon is a premier embroiderer, and no school, business or organization should be without her work. I recommend her without any reservation.   - Maren Bannett

I just wanted to let you know how much my daughter loves the blanket she recently was given at Children's Hospital Los Angeles. I wish you could have seen her face when she received it. I meant a lot that someone she did not even know would give her something so special.   - Mary Jackson

Hi Mr. and Mrs. Solomon, I just want to let you know that we really appreciate your thoughtfulness. The embroidered blanket our baby Nels received is very cute. Nels is almost five months old and has already gone through a bone marrow transplant. We can't wait to be able to take him back home ... with his precious blanket.  - Todd and Johanna Raisanen

Dear Steve and Martha, thank you so much for the blanket. I couldn't believe my eyes as I unfolded this nice, soft blanket and found my puppy "Chulo" embroidered on the blanket AND his name is in purple (my favorite)! I really appreciate such a kind thoughtful and personal gift during these difficult times. I admire your family's compassion, kindness, and positive outlook! I will be donating several "Nate The Great" books to my school's library in honor of Nate and your family. Thank you so much!   - Jenny Beltran-Lopez

Dear Mr. Steve and Mrs. Martha Solomon, On behalf of my brother, Enrique, and his wife, Rosie, and their little angle, Briana Marie, I would like to thank you for the beautiful embroidered blanket. It not only makes a beautiful but a warming gift as well. Briana is fighting a Neuroblastoma tumor, and we are all just trying to take one day at a time. But within her illness, we have been blessed with so many wonderful people and your warm wishes is one of those blessings. We want to thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Your STITCHES FROM HEAVEN really brings a little piece of heaven into our lives! God bless you!!!    - Ana Chase

Our son Tommy died in May of 2001. To this day, I don't know how we are surviving. It has been over two years. Since then we have met so many wonderful people who are "surviving" the death of their children....they, like us are living a nightmare each and every day. We met the Solomon family at the cemetery... we had an immediate bond. As soon as we could "catch our breath" and dry our tears, we learned more about each other's families. As it turned out , Martha had an embroidery machine, and had been very busy making blankets for children with cancer. She had a huge book with logos and designs, and she let my husband and myself look through it. With Martha's help, we chose a saddle for his logo. Tommy was a 28 year old "cowboy" who died while he was on the job in Ventura California. We asked Martha to make embroidered caps and shirts..both longsleeve and shortsleeve...so that we could give them to our friends...his friends and members of our family. People who have lost loved ones, want more than anything to keep their memory alive.....through Martha and her company...we can do this. The quality of her products are wonderful...and her embroidery work is perfect. Her heart is in every job that she does.   - Pam Hunzicker (Tommy's Mom)
