Stitches From Heaven is a family-run business.  We launched Stitches From Heaven in 2001 as a way to help cope with the loss of our son, Nathan, who lost his battle with cancer at only six.  He was first diagnosed with Ewings Sarcoma just after his fourth birthday, and endured fourteen months of chemo, five weeks of radiation, and five surgeries.  Shorly after his sixth birthday, Nathan relapsed and soon became an Angel.  He is always in our thoughts and has provided much of the inspiration behind Stitches From Heaven.

Nathan always had his favorite green fleece blanket with him to comfort him through his long hospitalizations.  In his memory, part of the proceeds we earn at Stitches From Heaven goes to providing personalized embroidered fleece blankets to kids with cancer.
